The University of Adelaide (阿德雷得大學)位於南澳首府Adelaide市中心，創立於1874年，被歸為澳洲六所砂岩學府（Sandstone universities）之一，是世界著名的高等學府。同時亦是澳洲最具歷史、代表性和實力的頂尖研究型學府之一，在眾多權威的澳洲大學排名中名列前茅，也是澳洲最享有盛譽的澳洲八大名校的聯盟成員之一。澳洲8位諾貝爾獎得獎者中有5位來自The University of Adelaide，它又曾培育出104位獲羅德獎學金（Rhodes Scholarships）的學者。在排名方面，The University of Adelaide被評為澳洲大學排名第*9，世界大學排名為全球第*135。
